Annapurna Circuit Trek Package

Since it opened to foreign trekkers in 1977, the Annapurna Circuit Trek has become one of the most renowned and spectacular trekking routes in the world. Starting at less than 1,000 meters, the Annapurna Circuit Trek gives a chance to explore the Himalayas from bottom to top and from many different angles and perspectives. Also, with lush green valleys and fascinating villages, the Annapurna Circuit Trek offers impressive snow-capped views of the white Himalayas.

Trekking Route

This 18-day Annapurna Circuit Trek begins in Syange and follows the Marshyangdi River, with spectacular views of Manasle and Himal Chuli to the east. And, following the river valley Annapurna Circuit Trek route, you will reach the village, inhabited by a wide diversity of people from different ethnic groups and offering spectacular and majestic views of the Himalayas. Moreover, continuing to the north of the main Himalayan range to the high and dry Tibetan plateau, the scenery is equally breathtaking.

The highest point on the Annapurna Circuit Trek is the Thorong-la Pass (5416 m) at the top of the valley. Tough terrain and harsh weather conditions make crossing Thorong-la Pass (5416m.) quite difficult. And, because of the difficulties of crossing the pass, the Annapurna Circuit Trek is usually walked in a counter-clockwise direction. On top of that, traveling clockwise, with the longer ascent and shorter descent from west to east, is too much for many people to manage in one day. And, after passing the high pass, we descend to the west at Muktinath, and we continue to the barren, Tibetan-like village of the Kali Gandaki. Kali Gandaki is the deepest gorge in the world and passes between the giant Annapurna.

The Best Seasons for the Annapurna Circuit Trek

Autumn and spring are considered the best seasons for trekking in the Annapurna region. These are the most popular seasons for Trekking in Nepal. So, during these two seasons, you will find hundreds of trekkers along the route. But these may not be appropriate seasons if you want a solo trek on the least crowded trail. Monsoons and winters are perfect for solo trekkers.

Difficulty

The Annapurna Circuit Trek is quite a challenging trekking package in Nepal. And some of the major factors that make the Annapurna Circuit Trek difficult are altitude, toughest terrain, weather, long walking hours or duration of the trek, and distance.

The highest point on the Annapurna Circuit Trek is the Thorong-la Pass, at an altitude of 5416 meters. Thorong-la Pass is the highest pass in the region. This pass is closed during harsh seasons, and even during the trekking season, it is difficult to pass through its rough, dry, steep, and toughest terrain. Because of the difficulties of crossing the pass, the Annapurna Circuit Trek is usually walked in a counter-clockwise direction. Traveling clockwise, with the longer ascent and shorter descent from west to east, is too much for many people to manage in one day. By doing so, they might be deprived of some important aspects of the trek.

Moreover, it can be cold, windy, and covered in snow up in the mountains, which makes the trek even more difficult. Also, trekking for 6-7 hours and even 8–10 hours on some days can be tiresome for first-time trekkers. It is recommended to be prepared for the trek beforehand by doing exercises, cardio, and simple hikes on a regular basis before going for the trek. Anyone who is physically fit and has good stamina can do this trek with some preparation.

Unforgettable Journey with Team Ram Adventure

The Annapurna Circuit Trek with Team Ram Adventure was an unforgettable journey that left me with cherished memories and a profound appreciation for the beauty of the Himalayas. The breathtakinglandscapes, warm camaraderie, and the challenges we faced together made it one of the best experiences of my life. As we embarked on our trek, our excitement was palpable. Team Ram Adventure, a renowned trekking company known for their experienced guides and well-organized trips, had meticulously planned the itinerary. The journey began in the vibrant city of Kathmandu, where we met our team members and guides. From there, we set out on a scenic drive to the trailhead, passing through picturesque villages and terraced farmlands that provided a glimpse into the rural life of the Nepalese people. The first few days of the trek took us through lush forests, cascading waterfalls, and charming villages

The ever-changing landscape kept us enthralled as we walked amidst rhododendron forests and crossed suspension bridges over rushing rivers. Each day brought a new adventure, and the diversity of the terrain made the trek all the more fascinating. As we gained altitude, the views became more awe-inspiring. The snow-capped peaks of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri seemed to grow closer with every step. The Thorong La Pass, the highest point of the trek at an elevation of over 5,400 meters, was a daunting challenge. But with the encouragement of our experienced guides and the support of our fellow trekkers, we made it to the top, where a sense of achievement washed over us. The teahouses along the trail provided us with much-needed rest and nourishment. Sharing meals and stories with fellow trekkers from around the world fostered a sense of camaraderie that made the experience even more special. We learned about their cultures and experiences, creating lasting friendships that transcended borders. As we continued our descent, the landscapes changed once again.

The arid region of Mustang offered a stark contrast to the lush forests we had left behind. The ancient monasteries and traditional mud-brick houses added a cultural dimension to the trek, reminding us of the rich history and spirituality of the region. Throughout the trek, Team Ram Adventure proved to be an exceptional companion. Their expertise and professionalism ensured that we had a safe and enjoyable journey. They were not only knowledgeable about the terrain but also deeply connected to the local communities, which added a meaningful dimension to our experience. The trek had challenged us physically and mentally, but it had also given us a new perspective on life and our place in the world. Looking back,

The Annapurna Circuit Trek with Team Ram Adventure was a life-changing experience. It taught us the importance of perseverance, the beauty of human connections, and the need to protect and preserve our fragile environment. The memories we created and the bonds we formed will stay with us forever, serving as a constant reminder of the transformative power of adventure and exploration.
